how to install imagick (with php)

Posted on: April 28, 2011

sudo apt-get install php5-imagick

i googled but the articles are all mentioning after you do that you need to do something from the pecl side (like download, extract, configure and make)

in my case, i can already new a Imagick object without any complaints.

well i have to change /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/imagick.ini not to use # as comment. the other files there are using ;.

let’s see if this ends up working all the way.
