chili和啤酒面包

chili究竟是哪国的食品,大家众说纷纭。一般都认为是墨西哥的。但是其实墨西哥本地好像并没有。充其量也是tex-mex类的,就是墨西哥食品落户德州的变种。所以从历史上看起来,和fortune cookie啦,左宗鸡等等我们在中国从来没见过的中餐性质是差不多的。

chili的recipe简直如恒河沙,或者银河星,数不胜数。我基本上follow的是这个, 因为在allrecipes.com上面好像是review最多的chili recipe.

当然我改了很多地方。比较重要的一定要放cumin啊。就是孜然。想想很有意思。中餐里面放孜然很有异域风情。chili也是一种relatively exotic food in America。放了孜然也很exotic。是不是孜然的效果就是这样子的,hoho。

很显然这个就不能乱改了。做出来外面的crust比较硬,但是正好蘸在chili里面来吃。里面很松软可口。更不用说烤的时候满屋子的淡淡的香味儿了。 特别有家的感觉。
