I wish I’d written down all the movies I saw throughout the year like you did. What a good habit :)… I think one of my new year resolutions would be to come up with a way to do the same, for my own book keeping…

review them somewhere (only need to give some stars)…then you can go back and see the list…not sure if flixster can do this…i do it all on douban…not sure if you need another social network 🙂

haha, look who’s talking… why is it you need so many while i don’t 😀

i was more or less talking about your good habit of *blogging* each one of them (maybe not every one but), even if just a sentence or two… good for looking back… and keepsake

🙂 haha

i think you hit the nail right on the head…if you let go of the idea of “writing”…and can be satisfied just writing out whatever is on your mind…keeping a blog would be a lot easier! at least that is how i approach it 🙂

it is not entirely not of use to writing either…i once received a similar tip from an aspiring writer…he said the key is to write a certain number of words/lines every day…no matter what…however the format…even just pure brain dump…

on the other hand, he hasn’t become published yet 🙂

i totally agree… my thing is not that i don’t want to “brain dump”, it’s more of i don’t want others to see my “brain dump”, at least not everyone, otherwise i’d hesitate while writing, which is not good… maybe i need another blog all to myself 😀

by “everyone” i meant everyone that knows it’s me… if u know what i mean

dear i know what you mean…having an audience or not will definitely influence how we write (and what we write) etc…not to mention tailoring to a particular audience etc…

so i think that other thing is called “diary” 🙂 i still keep a diary, in addition to my blog…
